V0.08 Performance improvements!
V0.08 Has arrived, along with some much needed performance improvements. You should no longer get those massive stuttering stops when new maps are created. You may still see some small stutters here and there, and that will continue to be optimized. Due to the new way that assets are loaded this means we have now changed the start to a countdown timer. In the future there will be a different intro to the map, but this will simulate the game start time for now. Addressing performance was a major point for this project, and this update allows us to do that going forward.
The energy shield handling has also been improved, there is now a countdown and notice at the top of the screen when you have an active energy shield.
AI Aiming has been improved a little bit to make sure that they're aiming at your upper body. In the future we'll add some drift to their shots based on difficulty level.
