V0.20 Now you See me...


V0.20 is here and it is really bringing a lot:

1. New mission target. You'll have some variety in the form of Zinx being picked as a random mission. Zinx is different than Twinblast. She has a multitude of abilities and a different attack style. While Twinblast has pin-point accuracy, Zinx fires large fast moving blaster shots, but with a reduced fire rate. They pack a punch, so if she's shooting at you, you want to move out of the way. She also has a heal ability that she can trigger if she's taken too much damage. Finally she has a ground ability that she can trigger when she is in range. This tears up the ground and does damage to anyone it hits and will remain on the field for several seconds doing DoT for anyone caught in it. Her ground effect is going to be improved going forward, this isn't the final model for it.

2. Rifle overhaul. Player rifle damage has been modified, increased by about 50%, AI damage has not been increased. Furthermore, the rifle now has an aim mode. This aim mode will slow you down, give you a bit of a zoom in through the reticule, and will boost your damage by 2x to reflect you taking a careful shot. The draw back is that your fire rate is reduced to reflect you taking your time to make a careful shot. This mode is good for enemies you can spot further away on the map. You can take a couple of heavier damage shots before they close range and then switch to faster fire. 

3. Melee enemies now have a new trick. When they're within a certain range, they'll activate a personal teleport. Where do they go? Let's hope you have your head on a swivel. 

4. Shotguns have been fixed beware. There was a small bug in shotguns previously, which meant players were taking significantly reduced damage from them. If you hear a shot gun blast, or see an enemy with one, keep your distance. They are now as deadly as the player is up close. 

5. There was a ton of bug fixes and under the hood stuff. We'll be able to add new targets for the missions easier now.
